A look at the 2023 Toyota Tundra

The new 2023 Toyota Tundra returns this year after the Tundra's complete redesign completed last year. The new Tundra delivers everything buyers could want in their next full-size truck including towing capacity, performance, luxury, and advanced connectivity features. Where the Tundra shines against its competition is in its ability to offer a wide range of versions and bed lengths, and the value it provides.

The 2023 Tundra offers multiple versions and a powerful hybrid engine

A total of 21 versions of the Toyota Tundra will be available in 2023. Starting prices for the new Tundra are $47,050 for a 4x2 Double Cab SR model and $86,190 for the top-of-the-line Capstone model. In between, you can choose from a variety of body configurations (Double Cab and Crewmax), bed lengths (5.5 feet, 6.5 feet, and 8.1 feet), and two powerful engines with three total outputs.

New i-FORCE MAX Hybrid engine

The 2023 Tundra lineup's highlight engine is the impressive new i-FORCE MAX hybrid. This engine produces 437 horsepower and 583 lb-ft of torque, more torque than any other hybrid engine that is available in the truck market. It uses a 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 engine combined with an electric motor to produce 437 horsepower and 583 lb-ft of torque.

Powered by i-FORCE Max, the 2023 Tundra can tow up to 11,170 pounds. The other option is the same twin-turbo engine without the hybrid which produces 389 horsepower and 479 lbs-ft of torque in most versions, while SR models deliver 348 horsepower and 405 pounds-ft of torque.

It doesn't matter which version of the new 2023 Toyota Tundra you ultimately buy, you will be amazed at how efficient and powerful the engine under the hood is. Toyota says the twin-turbo V6 improves efficiency by 25% over the previous V8 without sacrificing power while the i-FORCE MAX Hybrid is one of the most efficient engines available in a modern pickup today.

Enhanced Connectivity in the 2023 Toyota Tundra

With its new Toyota Infotainment System, the new Tundra 2023 provides advanced connectivity technologies. With the advanced voice command feature, many functions can be adjusted simply by speaking. Additionally, Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 is standard on all 2023 Tundra models, as is Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
