Toyota unveils several impressive electric vehicle concepts

Toyota gave us a sneak peek at their upcoming electric vehicle lineup over the next few years and quickly the web went wild. Surrounded by 15 electric models, Toyota CEO Akio Toyoda promised that there would be a Toyota electric vehicle for every need!

Toyota actually plans to produce 30 electric vehicles by 2030 in addition to investing $70 billion in the development of electric technologies of all kinds. Half of this amount will go to the development of 100% battery electric vehicles, several of which were presented yesterday.

It's a varied collection that ranges from high-performance sports cars to electric trucks to a range of new electric SUVs.

The new Toyota electric truck

The model that seems to have attracted the most attention is definitely Toyota's new electric truck. It looks like a Tacoma in terms of size with its short bed and double cab. It's bigger than a Tacoma though, and its styling also resembles the all-new 2022 Toyota Tundra.

Toyota has already talked about wanting to develop an electric truck and if it looks anything like this model, Toyota will have a complete and utter success on its hands!

A new high-performance electric car

The other model that has been the talk of the town is the stunning electric supercar unveiled yesterday by Toyota. It could be the next flagship car of the brand and will be a worthy replacement for the Toyota Supra.

Toyota also presented several electric sport utility vehicles including a model designed for off-road driving that could be the next generation of the FJ Cruiser! In addition, Toyota plans to offer electric SUVs with three rows of seats and several other SUV formats. These models will accompany the Toyota bZ4X, Toyota's first electric SUV coming in 2023.
